Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor Inductee Transitions from ESPN to esrp Full-time
FRISCO, TX – May 16, 2019 – You have seen him on the field wearing #28. You have seen him on tv hosting ESPN shows NFL Live and Sportscenter. You have probably even seen him giving back to his community through organizations like Make-a-Wish Foundation and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. What may come as a surprise, is where you will see the three-time Super Bowl champion and five-time Pro Bowl selection Monday through Friday.
During the work week, Darren Woodson is dedicating his time and unique skill set at the Dallas Cowboys’ world headquarters in Frisco; not for the obvious reason. The address of distinction know as “The Star”, is also home to 398,000 square feet of office. There Woodson is an active leader on the third floor at esrp.
esrp is a commercial real estate firm leveraging intelligence and pioneering new practices to elevate the CRE experience and produce unexpected results. esrp focuses solely on tenant-representation in the areas of office and industrial.
“Darren has distinguished himself through his leadership, community involvement and remarkable talent. His commitment to delivering a high-level of service to our clients and to esrp as a whole, deserves the recognition as partner,” said CEO, Sharon Morrison.
Since joining the firm as Executive Vice-President in 2017, Woodson has had a monumental impact on client service, team leadership and overall growth of esrp. Woodson has coupled his storied football career and entrepreneurial spirit with real estate, splitting his time between DFW and Bristol, Connecticut where ESPN is broadcast.
“Darren has already made a meaningful influence on our organization – helping key customers like NTT Data, Argo Data, and Moneygram,” said Steve Jarvie, President of esrp. “Darren and I have been friends for over 20 years. He is intelligent, hard-working, energetic and such a team player. We are truly humbled to have him as part of the esrp team.”
Woodson’s last broadcast on NFL Live aired on Tuesday, May 14, in which ESPN sent him off with a video chronicle of his last 14 years there as an analyst. In his new role with esrp, Woodson will be responsible for helping create strategic partnerships with corporations and leveraging those relationships into successful real estate strategies.
“Commercial Real Estate is the perfect field for me to transition my skill set. I am honored to be a part of the teaming environment at esrp and have the opportunity to be an asset in changing the CRE industry.” said Darren Woodson.
