Annual gifts
Ignite relies on strong annual support from our many friends to help us with day-to-day operating costs. Unrestricted gifts provide us with the flexibility to enhance existing programs, develop new services, and continue to succeed as a leader in therapeutic recreation.

Matching gifts
Your gift can be doubled, or even tripled, if you or your spouse work for a company with a matching gift program. All you need to do is obtain a matching gift form from your human resources department, fill it out, and mail it to Ignite, PO Box 19016, Boulder, Colorado 80308-2016.

In-Kind Donations
Products or services, which have the effect of reducing our operating costs, are greatly appreciated.

Charitable bequests
A charitable bequest can be tailored to almost any set of circumstances, and it provides an unlimited deduction for estate tax purposes. Bequests also provide a flexible planning tool for meeting the needs of loved ones and making choices that fulfill personal wishes. Today, bequests can take many forms. In a last will and testament, you may stipulate a specific cash donation, or state a percentage of your gross assets.

Life insurance
A gift of a life insurance policy allows you to make a major gift for a modest cost. Many donors like to use insurance gifts to receive a current tax deduction while disposing of an old policy that is no longer needed.

Used Vehicles
A used vehicle can be donated to Ignite using the icon below. The proceeds of your donation will benefit Ignite, allowing you to receive the tax benefits of a donation to a non-profit organization.



Sponsor an Athlete
Each year, over 180 children and adults with disabilities enjoy skiing opportunities with Ignite Adaptive Sports. By taking part in our ski program, individuals with disabilities enhance their skills and achieve their personal best.

Many athletes, however, lack the personal resources to take advantage of our program. Frequently, the financial burden that comes with treating a disability leaves many who wish to participate with the Ignite program unable to do so. Through the Sponsor an Athlete fund, participants receive scholarships that provide equipment, lift tickets, lessons from an Ignite instructor, and the many benefits of being outdoors- with your help.

Reasons to Sponsor an Athlete:

• Your gift will give a disabled individual the opportunity to participate in an activity with family and friends, possibly for the very first time.
• Your gift will provide an important therapeutic "next step" for a child or adult who is involved in a clinical rehabilitation process.
• Your gift will assist someone whose only access to Ignite programs is through a school, hospital, agency or other organization.
• Your gift will provide a disabled athlete with a joyous experience-and one that will enhance the quality of his or her life.
• Your gift will give you the joy of knowing you've opened a door, fulfilled a dream, made difference.
• You will enhance the quality of an athletes life!

A gift of $350 provides a disabled athlete with a seasonal scholarship entailing free lessons, equipment and lift tickets-along with the many wonders of outdoor recreation. With this sponsorship level, you'll receive a thank-you note from, and information about, a sponsored athlete.
